Recently classic fm decided to expand their target audience by advertising to children in schools and high schools, this will promote classic music and make people more interested so their target audience increases, and this will benefit them very well.
Representations of teenagers in radio news bulletins – comparison between channels – language ideology:
Radio stations like kiss 100 have news bulletins however they are not as detailed as for example 94.9 FM. This difference of the two is that kiss100 gives small facts about the news on the day but there is no in depth analysis like they would do on a normal news show. Also the length of the news that they broadcast is short which indicates that they represent teenagers as having short attention span and will ultimately get bored if they sit through long news bulletins.
