Pitch : Imagine living a life of wealth and respect, having your food and clothes tailored to your needs. Thinking an idea of what you wanted and receiving it. Money being the one thing you control and spending it. This is the life Drake Delotorie lives, but imagine if that lifestyle that you were so accustomed to was ripped and taken from your hands how would you react. The 2hr film goes through his journey as a well established human being and how being so rich and extravagant can suddenly just change.

Description: His parents had to flee from their wealthy background, having gone bank robbed in the recent recession. Living in a rich mansion in the country side, the family had to sell there belongings and move to lower less wealthy area in west London.

Drake reacting like any teenager he went against the idea but he obviously could not live in his house so therefore he agreed. At this point Drake is living in a different area with people that he hasn't seen ever in his life. He struggles to get to know the neighborhood and the people living in it, he's also struggling with the people he has to go collage with. At this point Drake's life is becoming rather difficult and it's when he first starts to act unusual and realises that people around the world don't live like him. It is as if he lived in a bubble all his life and the bubble finally POPS when he sees his surroundings and what he has to adapt to however not every animal in the animal kingdom adapts to where they live and so the ones that do not adapt are extinct this indicated how Drake's mind is working and he feels threatened by all these different people and cultures. That is when the obsession of being the better person starts. 

Drake at this point lost in his own mind, goes to school only to find himself in a argument. Having a altercation with  2 students he waits for them outside school and does the unthinkable. He commits his first murder, he remembers striking one with the knife and feeling the edge and thrill from it and he than remembers smiling and feeling no anxiousness, the feeling of ease and calmness like it came naturally to him. He realises this is the only way to make him self relax and get away from the stressful life of being a Londoner now.

How far will Drake go to feel that adrenalin and ease, will he kill everyone that has an argument with him, how far will his obsession take him ?

First 2 mins : We first hear a clicking sound of a light switch being turned on and off and then from a distance we see a light being switched on and off. As we gradually get closer to the light we see that it is a lamp and we notice a figure sitting underneath the lamp. The camera moves closer towards the figure still not seeing his face but as we are going closer we see that their hand is twitching and the camera reacts to this and moves towards the hand, still hearing the clicking sound of the light switch. The camera turns towards the side of the hand to see a kitchen knife (this being a close up shot) the camera continues to stare down the knife. The clicking of the light stops and the light is left turned on by the figure in the dark. All that we can see of him/her is a the figure of their body shape and both hands, we can not see there face this part is hidden by the shadow of the room. We see the figure picks up the knife and is hesitating trying to cut themselves. A medium shot of the figure with the knife on one hand and trying to cut the other hand. The figure with the knife stops what they are doing and throws the knife away. We see a long angle shot of the knife being thrown away and a medium close up of the figure sitting there no movements and then the scene blacks out.

Visual: The first shot we see is a long wide shot of a broken down building with a yellow look of distraction on it. The camera slowly moves into the building getting closer at the front door until we enter   a kitchen were we see a big man, possibly a butcher, sharpening a large kitchen knife. The camera is slowly going up towards the man's face to reveal who it is, we see a large looking man with a fierce stern look on his face.The camera swiftly moves past the man's face and goes through a vent revealing another man, this man is much shorter and smaller in comparison to the bigger man, he looks terrified and is sweating he seems to be listening in through a smaller window. The shot changes to the man in the kitchen sharpening his knife much faster and then it switches to the smaller man wrapping newspaper and masking tape around himself in the same pace as the man with the knife.

Both men seem to react to something, so the man with the knife freezes while the other man puts a paper bag over his face and then walks downstairs. The next shot shows bin men taking the rubbish out while a close up shot of the man in the paper bag is shown in a bin poking his head out. The shot is then moved to the larger man smoking a cigarette and putting the bud in the bin where the man is hiding. The last shot we see is the man in the bin being moved and the bin is opened to see the larger man holding the sharpened knife and striking the man in the bin.

The media is a big part of everyone’s life; nearly every person in the world has something that concerns them within the media. It affects our daily lives from what we listen to; to what we actually see, it sometimes takes part in helping us form our opinions about certain aspects within the world.  It makes change in world it also inspires people through education and social communications.

Media has had huge effect on society as it brings people information from the world in the comfort of their homes.  It has resulted in the exchange of views which means people from different ethnicities can exchange ideas and opinions which has initially turned to a global sharing of knowledge. The media has made people share political, social information and made people communicate with each other much easier. Life is bliss with the media at our hand; we can talk to our family members in Australia with a click of a button using Skype. We can also find out information and the latest news in China just by changing the TV channel, the media has transformed all life it has made people around the world connect and understand each other.

The media has contributed to people having a much better idea of their own government and political parties. Having had elections broadcasted on Radios, TV, Newspapers, Internet and social networking sites the public have become more interested and understand political differences between the parties which makes the whole voting system much more interesting.  The media concerns nearly every person, from granddads to teenagers the media effects everyone. The public having become the product now, having sites such as Facebook has made people describe and label their lives on their profiles and sharing images the site has boosted the communication between people around the world, nearly 8 out 10 people have Facebook or know someone that has Facebook. This social networking site has contributed to the increase of internet use. These social networking sites have captured the people’s hearts and minds. You can research anything you want on the internet and receive it. From fast food stores like pizza hut doing orders online to watching a movie or even finding a partner, the media is most definitely a vital part of everyday life. 

However people have forgotten what life really meant basic values and days at the park have all flown out the window.  People have forgotten how to have fun and still be in the world without worrying about posting statues on Facebook and Tweeting what they did today, the values of sitting on the dinner table and talking about what happened are over. Furthermore with the media along comes celebrities who we want to know the ‘low down’ on. Our lives have become knowing what wedding dress designer Kim Kardashian is going to choose. The media has over taken everything having magazines just based on celebrities and blogs speaking about them the media has over exposed stories and people’s lives.

It also doesn’t portray the truth making people in the world have the wrong views. The terror attacks that happened around the world, the media automatically criticised the Muslims making all Muslims be portrayed as terrorists and maybe the media did not actually state those exact words but they push the story that far that the public believed and change the way they treated some people living In their society. In some way the media can be wicked and malicious and change views.

The media is an immense part of life it can be the only vital communicator between loved ones and can be the source of fun for others. It can also be the gossip and storyteller but without the media many people in this world would be absent.
