A medium angle shot of all the people in the scene looking up at something their faces show that they look melancholy. However one person in the frame is defying what all the other characters are doing and looking the opposite way. In some way he looks rebellious and he's going against the norm.
The shot shows a high angle shot of a city view, the city has different characteristics to a normal city it has electronic posters, the date at the bottom of the screen also proves our theory that the film is set in the future. The city looks gloomy, dark and foggy you can see this from the dark wagons driving around and the dull colours shown in the shot. The greys, whites and blacks connate the moods of the people in the city as the colours could explain their emotions.

ReplyDeleteEBI just simply put this is what you did in class and nothing else. Therefore you could obviously improve this by finishing the task set as is a requirement of the course.
In addition you need to use media language more extensively and with more accuracy too - you mention a high angle shot - look at it again and reassess.
